Annie Sloan Svenska Blue is a crisp and cool blue-grey Chalk Paint® colour, evocative of the colours seen throughout Swedish manor houses in the 17th and 18th Century.

Chalk Paint® is the versatile furniture paint developed by Annie Sloan in 1990. With no need for sanding or priming, you can simply pop open the tin, roll up your sleeves, dip in your brush and apply paint to furniture. Works on wood, metal, laminate, concrete, indoors, outdoors and beyond.Get creative with Svenska Blue Chalk Paint®. It's easy to do and the results are fantastic. 

Neutrals that go well with Annie Sloan Svenska Blue Chalk Paint® are Annie Sloan Old White, Country Grey, and French Linen Chalk Paint®. Good accent colours are Olive, Amsterdam Green, Old Violet, and Primer Red Chalk Paint®.

Size & Coverage

Svenska Blue Chalk Paint® is available in 120ml and 1 litre tins. 1 litre is enough to cover approximately 13 square meters, but if unsure check the Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® coverage guide.  After painting, seal indoor furniture with Chalk Paint® Wax. On floors, seal with Chalk Paint® Lacquer.

Representative samples of Chalk Paint by Annie Sloan have been independently certified as "TOY SAFE" according to European Standards (BS EN 71-3:2013). Annie Sloan Chalk Paint has also been given the A emissions classification rating for indoor air quality by independent testing.
