How does the current COVID-19 situation impact GJF Furnishings?

With the ongoing COVID-19 situation we have had to close the doors of our shop in March but have since re-opened on 2nd June following the Governments update to the shop exemptions list to include homewares on 13th May. We have followed the Government guidelines to carry out our risk assessments and have put social distancing measures in place. We only permit one customer / bubble at a time in our store due to its size, to ensure that the 2m is achieved at all times to make your shopping experience more comfortable. Face masks must be worn in the shop by all customers unless excempt.

We have set up our website so that it is possible to take online orders. We are only a small family business so do not have a warehouse so do not put any employees at risk collecting or picking stock as it is done solely by Graeme or Hannah who run the business. We are ensuring strict hygiene levels and will do our own local deliveries with a no contact basis to ensure social distancing. For longer distance deliveries we will use a postal service. Please respect the safety of your postal worker and either leave a note to leave on your door step or ensure you keep a 2m social distance from them. It is also possible to select collection in person at the checkout to arrange a collection from our shop.

I like the lamps but would like a different bottle or fabric?

We can mix and match the bottles and fabrics if you have a favourite bottle type in mind but would like a different shade. We can also do bespoke ones to tailor to your home décor so please contact us for more information through email or our Facebook page.

I like the style of your furniture painting and was wondering if you do commissions?

Yes it is possible to arrange a commission to give your existing furniture a brand new look. Please send an email with a photo of the furniture, a brief description of what you would like, the dimensions and your location to gjffurnishings@gmail.com and we will get back to you with a quotation.

How long will it take you to dispatch my order?

Normally we would aim to ship within 1-3 working days.

Where can I find customer reviews?

Our reviews page on our website has a link to our Facebook page where we have our reviews and recommendations from our lovely customers.

Is there a physical shop?

Yes we have our little shop on Southam High Street. Our shop address is 74a Coventry Street, Southam, Warwickshire, CV47 0EA. If you select collection in person at the checkout, this is where the collection will take place during our opening hours of 10am to 4pm Tuesday to Saturday.
