Chalk Paint® Lacquer 

Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® Lacquer is a hard-wearing, water-based polyacrylic varnish with built-in UV protection. Use it over Chalk Paint® for a robust finish that will withstand general wear and tear – perfect for dining room tables, outdoor furniture, floors and skirting boards. It goes on perfectly clear and dries quickly without yellowing over time.

Matt Lacquer provides a matt finish and will slightly darken the colour of the Chalk Paint®, similarly to Chalk Paint® Wax. Gloss Lacquer gives a light sheen, but is not ultra glossy.

Additional Information

Avoid multiple coats of Matt chalk paint® lacquer over dark colours. If extra durability is required, Annie Sloan recommends a coat or two of Gloss Lacquer followed by a final single coat of Matt Lacquer to avoid any cloudiness.

This product contains 3.2% VOC. EU limit value for this product (cat a): 30g/l (2010).
